LORETTA L. BOLYARD, PHD
Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dr. Bolyard’s primary interests include screening, assessment, and care coordination for individuals who suffer from a variety of acquired neurological conditions, including brain injury, stroke, epilepsy, dementia, as well as other complex medical conditions affecting cognition and mood. Dr. Bolyard’s practice focuses on several forensic issues as well, including independent medical evaluations (IMEs), cognitive assessment in guardianship proceedings, as well as general forensic psychological assessments, such as fitness to proceed and mental disease/defect evaluations. Dr. Bolyard served on the Board of Psychologist from 2018 - 2023, serving as the Chair for the latter four years.
Dr. Bolyard obtained her PhD in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Neuropsychology, from the University of Montana in 2011. During this time, she simultaneously completed a Master's degree in cellular Neuroscience. She then relocated to Seattle where she completed additional training in neuropsychological assessment while at the Puget Sound VA. Following these experiences, she transitioned into a private practice setting and completed an additional >3600 hours of supervision under a board-certified neuropsychologist. In 2014, she returned to Montana where she and her husband, Darren, founded MWPR.
